The Nevada State Museum showcases the history of Nevada from the beginning up to modern day. It was really interesting! The fossils and Las Vegas resort exhibits were my favorite.
They had a kid craft in one of the rooms off of the main exhibit. Our kids loved it and was a good activity break for them.
And of course we had to do the penny press machine! It is located in front of the gift shop. If you don’t have quarters and pennies they will exchange cash for coins in the gift shop.
Tickets
The Nevada State Museum is located at the Springs Preserve. Your ticket gets you into both the Nevada State Museum and the Springs Preserve. They are open Friday - Monday. Tickets are $9.95 for adults, $4.95 for children (ages 3-17), and free for children ages 2 and under.
