We've had the Micro Kickboard Scooter for years and it's held up to lots of use! I love that the handlebar is adjustable so it keeps growing with our kids. It also comes in lots of fun colors! This scooter is designed for kids ages 2 - 5 (although my 6 year old can still use it).
I tested several helmets on Amazon and I found one that was perfect. The inside head strap is adjustable so it grows with them and always has a snug fit.
